i do agree that he is probably using sarcasm, altough badly expressed.

Actually... 6*9=42 indeed.
If you use the "überdecimal" (13s, instead of 10s)
cuz 4*13^1+2*13^0=52+2=54, and 6*9=54, so thus 6*9=42.
